About The Event
CLOSE RANGE GUNFIGHTING – LET’S GET REALISTIC
The class begins with a review of the core fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, and then progresses to real-world gunfighting skills and the integration of defensive pistol and hand to hand skills. We push the envelope and safely take square range live-fire pistol training to the next level, as such; this class is designed for the intermediate and advanced shooter. This dynamic class surpasses the traditional handgun curriculum commonly taught and focuses on the use of the pistol in aggressive close range applications likely to be encountered on the street. This class material has real-world application that is mostly ignored in many other programs and courses.

- Fundamentals of Marksmanship Refresher, (You should be proficient in these areas)
- The Draw Stroke
- Weapon Manipulation Refresher
- Target Discrimination/priority
- Multiple shots/Multiple adversaries
- Essential Footwork and Movement
- Shooting from Compressed Ready
- Shooting from Contact Ready
- Shooting on the Move (angles)
Recommended Equipment
- A functional and practical handgun
- Proper belt/ handgun ammunition (required holster and magazine pouches (required)
- 3 working magazines (required)
- 300 Rounds
- Ear and Eye protection (required)
Required Equipment
- Clothing suited for strenuous activity as well as being seasonally appropriate (No tank tops or flip flops)
- Sunblock, bug spray, water food or snacks
- Cleaning kit, tools
- An open mind
