Private group firearms training across South Florida

Group Firearm Training in Miami and South Florida

One group. One written plan.

Tell Stephen L. Cohen who is coming, what the group needs to accomplish, and the dates that can work. Tactical U will shape the course, venue, timing, equipment plan, and quote around the group.

THE TACTICAL U STANDARD

The group is understood before the course is built.

Tactical U confirms the people, goals, experience range, venue, equipment, timing, and quote in one written proposal before the training date is held.

Start with the people, not the product

Which group are you bringing?

A family, company, congregation team, and professional unit do not need the same day. Stephen starts with the people, the experience range, and the outcome, then builds the right session.

01

Family and Friends

Bring beginners and experienced shooters into one safe, supervised plan. The pace accounts for mixed ability without forcing a one-size-fits-all class.

Best for: birthdays, reunions, couples, adult family groups, and friends who want to train together.

Corporate Teams

Build a professionally run training day around safe performance, clear communication, and a shared standard. The proposal accounts for experience, equipment, timing, and company constraints.

Best for: leadership teams, small businesses, executive groups, and serious team experiences.

Congregation Security Teams

Train the people who must work as a team, not as unrelated individuals. Stephen can shape the session around safe handling, judgment, communication, and actual responsibilities.

Best for: church and synagogue security teams that need a disciplined, documented training plan.

Training options for your group

Choose the training lane after the group is understood.

The course is the same training Tactical U teaches elsewhere. The format changes when a group books it together. Availability, prerequisites, range, ammunition, equipment, and price are confirmed in the proposal.

One organizer, four clear steps

Booking a group session in four steps

An organizer books once on behalf of the whole group. Every student still signs their own waiver.

  1. Step 1

    Talk with Stephen

Bring the course you want, roughly how many people, and the dates that work.

  2. Step 2

    Get the proposal

Stephen confirms the course, date, exact range, timing, and what the group needs to bring.

  3. Step 3

    Confirm in writing

The date is not reserved until the organizer’s written confirmation comes back.

  4. Step 4

    Payment and waivers

Full payment and every completed waiver are due within 48 hours of confirmation, or the training slot is released.

Before the day

What to expect on a group day

The practical things organizers ask before they commit a group to a date.

Group size

Tactical U runs small-group classes so every student gets individual correction while the line stays safe. The exact capacity is confirmed before the date is held.

Mixed ability

Complete beginners can join a group class. Instruction is paced so newer shooters are brought up without stalling students who already have a base.

Firearms and ammunition

Students are encouraged to bring their own gear. Rentals are available on request, and ammunition is sold separately at current market price.

Waivers

Every student signs the Tactical U liability waiver before training. No student goes on the line without it.

Where group training runs: Four-hour live-fire group courses usually run at the Homestead outdoor range in Miami-Dade. Fort Lauderdale group sessions run at the Apex public range; the private side of the same building is Founders Shooting Club. North Miami uses the Founders indoor range. Palm Beach County is a service area, not a Tactical U facility, and Palm Beach groups travel to a confirmed training location. The venue is confirmed in writing before payment.

The next move is a conversation

Bring the group. Stephen will build the plan.

There is no useful one-click price before Tactical U knows the people, course, venue, schedule, equipment plan, and range requirements.
