Advanced Rifle Skills for Night Fighting and Tactical Light Use

Low-Light Rifle Training Miami, Fort Lauderdale & Palm Beach

Location: Homestead Training Center (Serving Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and South Florida)

Don’t Be a Liability in the Dark. Own the Night.

Most rifle owners train exclusively in daylight – but that’s not when the worst threats hit. Whether you’re defending a home, patrolling in a professional role, or preparing for worst-case scenarios, operating a rifle in the dark introduces a completely different level of complexity and danger.

Low-Light Rifle is a four-hour advanced course for trained shooters who already demonstrate control, safety, and rifle fundamentals. You’ll train with weapon-mounted lights, handheld lights, and movement tactics under real-world lighting conditions.

This isn’t a target shooting session. This is decision-making, movement, and engagement with a rifle when your vision, perception, and reaction time are compromised. If you can’t ID your target or control your light, you are a danger to yourself and others.

  • Using vertical structures (doorways, vehicles, walls) to manipulate shadows for concealment

  • Employing controlled light pulses to engage without revealing position
  • Transitioning between sling positions (low ready, high ready, patrol carry) in low visibility
  • Adjusting rifle-mounted light angle and beam pattern to avoid backscatter or reflection
  • Coordinating rifle position, eye line, and light direction to remain threat-focused
  • Timing fire and light for maximum surprise and control
