What the training does, and what FDACS decides
Tactical U provides instructor-led firearms training, live-fire competency work, and course documentation. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, known as FDACS, controls the current license requirements and makes the final decision on every application.
Florida permitless concealed carry and the Florida Concealed Weapon License are separate legal paths. Because laws and application rules change, confirm current eligibility and required documentation directly with FDACS.

How the Tactical U process works
- Choose the right amount of training. Compare the 2-hour and 4-hour private options above.
- Book or talk first. Reserve the correct class, or schedule a call when experience, equipment, or goals need clarification.
- Complete private instruction and live fire. Training is adjusted to the student’s current ability while the safety standard remains fixed.
- Use the course documentation in the FDACS process. FDACS remains the final authority for license eligibility and acceptance.
