What do I need for the online safety class?
Reliable internet, device with video and audio. You do not need a firearm in front of you.
What should I bring to the in-person CCW class?
ANSI Z87.1 eye protection, NRR-rated ear protection, hat with brim, closed-toe shoes. Bring your firearm if you have one – or use ours.
Where are the in-person CCW classes held?
In person in Miami and Fort Lauderdale (indoor-range live fire).
Do I need a firearm safety class for Florida CCW?
Yes. Florida Statute 790.06 requires proof of competency via approved training with live fire.
Can I carry a firearm in Florida without a permit?
Yes since 2023 for eligible individuals. A CWL/CCW/CWP is still recommended for reciprocity.
How should I store a firearm safely?
